SDKÚ-DS began with 50%, but SaS quickly reversed the race and finished first with 28.7%, or 379 votes. SDKÚ-DS settled at 21.7%, leaving a wide field of 20 choices behind them.
The result is a plurality rather than a mandate—and Slovakia’s largest voting bloc leaned toward SDKÚ-DS, not the overall winner.
