The dream-team formation vote settled fast: Real Madrid grabbed 47% on day one, and even after the field caught up a little, the margin never dropped below 38%. It closed at 40.1% to Barcelona's 26.7% — a 13.4-point gap built entirely in the opening days and simply maintained for the rest of the week.
With 935 votes, Real Madrid outpolled the third- and fourth-place teams combined (Bayern 245, Man Red 233), and Argentina, Portugal and Italy — its three biggest voting blocs — all backed it too. This wasn't a coin-flip that broke late; it was a preference stated on day one and confirmed by everyone who showed up after.
- Day-one signal · Real Madrid led by 47% before any other team gained traction.
- Steady gap · Margin never fell below 38% across all 8 days.
