Škofijske gimnazije grabbed the lead on day 7 and held it through day 14, up as much as 55% at its peak. Every metric pointed to a comfortable win — until the final day, when Srednje zdravstvene in kozmetične šole flipped the whole poll and closed 2583 votes at 50.5% to 49.5%, a 27-vote margin.

The twist: Slovenia cast of those votes, the poll's dominant bloc, and it leaned toward Škofijske gimnazije the entire way. The winner built its final-day comeback on smaller pockets abroad — Croatia, the US, Slovakia — outrunning the home crowd that never actually backed it.
