Forget About You topped the 11-song field with 277 votes, or 20.9%. That was enough to stay ahead throughout, but not enough to command the room: If I Can’t Be With You drew 15.9%, Pass Me By 15.2%, and Ain’t No Way We’re Goin’ Home 14.6%.
The result is a plurality, not a mandate, with four songs clustered near the top.
- Plurality winner · Forget About You won with only 20.9%.
- Tight chase · Three challengers finished between 14.6% and 15.9%.
