Chile cast 140 of the sampled votes, more than any other country, and its favorite wasn't close: buying a ticket to NASA and fleeing the planet before. But that Chilean favorite finished second overall, 74 votes behind "Jefa de mis jefas" — the fantasy of commanding total wealth over every boss.

The gap between local taste and final outcome held for all 8 days: the money-power wish led from day one and stayed 29-31 points clear of the NASA escape without a single lead change. Votes from outside Chile — including a small US bloc favoring the mother-in-law's house on the hilltop — were enough to override the largest single voting bloc's pick.

  • Chile's real pick · Chile's top country bloc favored fleeing to NASA, not the eventual winner
  • Untouched lead · Jefa de mis jefas led by 29-35 points every single day, no flips
  • Gender lean · Jefa de mis jefas skewed heavily female, 747 women to 259 men
