Just Married finished first with 370 votes, but its 18.8% share left more than four in five voters choosing another Brittany Murphy film. Uptown Girls followed at 14.6%.
The next contest was razor-thin: Clueless edged 8 Mile by three votes, 234 to 231. With four films above 11% and none reaching 20%, the result was a plurality across a deeply divided catalogue.
