Sherine opened on top, then the lead flipped twice in the first four days before she built a real cushion — up 70% by day 8. That lead didn't hold: it eroded steadily for the next three months, sliding from 70% down to 38%, until Amr Diab overtook her on day 95 and settled into a steady ~40% edge for the rest of the poll.
The crowds behind the top two were nothing alike. Amr Diab's voters ran 72% male, while Assi Hillani — stuck in third with 17% of the vote — pulled 68% female, far more lopsided than Sherine's near-even split. Amr Diab's late-poll surge rode a male-heavy base large enough to outlast Sherine's early crowd.
