This wasn't a contest. Yes crossed 94% on day one and sat there for all 24 days straight — 4,544 votes to 305, a near-unanimous verdict with zero drama in between. No never mounted anything resembling a challenge; it opened where it finished.

The consensus held across borders too: Ireland's 3,082 votes lean Yes, and so do the UK, Austria, the US and six other countries behind them. Ten countries, one answer — closing the shops isn't a local preference, it's the default.

  • Flat from day one · Yes led 94% on day 1 and every single day after
  • Ten-for-ten countries · Every top country, from Ireland to France, leans Yes
  • Women, decisively · 3,963 women voted Yes versus just 232 for No
