Twelve St. finalists split the vote so thin that Airene Abuan won with just 23.7% (811 votes), barely ahead of Alliah Garcia's 19.5% (666). The sharper divide wasn't the score — it was who cast it. Abuan's electorate ran 56% female; Garcia's ran 65% male, the widest gender split on the board.
Garcia led the opening days, but Abuan passed her by day 4 and the margin froze at 24% for the next 44 days straight — a race settled early, then just tallied. The split held abroad too: voters from the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Canada all favored Abuan, while the UK broke for Garcia.
