In a Facebook poll of 3,885 respondents, 39.6% chose “Navya Arya- B-tech”. How we count
Navya Arya beat Bhumika Singh by 1.2 points — 46 votes out of 3,885 — the tightest gap in the field. Canada was the single biggest voting bloc, 1,603 strong, and it backed Bhumika from start to finish. That bloc alone should have been decisive. It wasn't: India's 1,242 votes swung almost as hard the other way, for Navya, and that was the difference.
The poll actually opened for someone else entirely — Pragati Mishra led day one — before Navya took over by day two and held a growing edge into the close. Bhumika's coalition looked different too: nearly a quarter of her votes came from women, versus roughly one in seven of Navya's, a split no other option in the field showed.
