Who will win the Southeastern Conference in 2011?
In a Facebook poll of 2,809 respondents, 42.8% chose “Alabama”. How we count

Alabama's share never dipped below 43% or climbed past 53% across the entire 96-day poll — a band so tight it's basically flat. Auburn, the only team within shouting distance, spent every single day of the count 29 to 39 points back, never once threatening to close the gap.
The real story is what the other ten teams couldn't do. Ole Miss, Kentucky and Vanderbilt combined for 23 votes total — under 1% of the poll — while Georgia, Mississippi State, South Carolina and LSU all bunched within a point of each other fighting for a distant third that none of them ever escaped.
