The mission vote changed direction almost immediately: Guido’s 25 push-ups led at the opening checkpoint, but Karim’s dance mission moved ahead by the next one. Karim then held roughly 55% to 56% through the rest of the 33-day poll.
The final count was 604 votes for Karim’s challenge versus 473 for the push-ups. Women supplied 487 of Karim’s votes, compared with 105 from men.
