“Throw it into the Danube” won the overall poll with 43.9%, but Slovakia’s largest country bloc leaned toward a different answer: moving the statue to another place, which finished at 37.3%. Keeping it in place drew 18.8%.
The removal option led at every checkpoint, yet the Slovak preference reveals a softer form of dissent: relocation over destruction.
