Hawaii took 1,784 votes. The other six ports of call — New Zealand, Bahamas, Iceland, Portugal, Mauritius, Japan — mustered 1,623 between them, and still came up short. That's not a lead, it's a whole field falling to one island. Its share held at 52% on day 1 and sat at 52% on day 8: eight days, zero drift.

The only resistance came from home turf. Across the top voting countries, Hawaii carried the US, Canada, UK and Australia by wide margins — but New Zealand the country was the sole bloc to back New Zealand the option over Hawaii, alongside a smaller French lean the same way. Everyone else picked the island.

  • Combined-field blowout · Hawaii's 1,784 votes beat all six rivals' 1,623 combined
  • Zero drift · Hawaii's 52% share was identical on day 1 and day 8
  • Home-turf holdout · New Zealand voters were the only bloc to back their own name
