Out of 2,922 votes over 106 days, Mermelada led by 79% on day one and finished at 77.5%. That two-point drift is the only thing that ever happened to this poll — the jam outvoted the hosts' siesta joke by more than three to one from the very first ballot and stayed there.
The margin didn't crack anywhere near even once, not in Spain's 220-vote bloc, not in the US's 30, not anywhere on the map except two lone dissenters in Belgium and France. Los presentadores never topped 23% on a single day of the run.
- Day-one lock · Mermelada led 79% before the poll was even a day old
- Two-point drift · 106 days moved the margin from 79% to 77.5%, nothing more
- Geographic unanimity · Spain and the US both broke big for Mermelada; only Belgium, France dissented
