Fallujah owned the opening days, up 23% on day 1, but the race scrambled fast: unsigned upstart Aegaeon grabbed the lead on day 5 before Pathology surged past everyone on day 6. It looked settled — until day 10, when Cerebral Bore seized the top spot and never let go, closing 24% to 23.7% over the final 13 days.

The finish masks a brutal geographic and gender split. Pathology dominates the massive US bloc (9,507 votes) and draws voting women at nearly 2-to-1 versus every other band, while Cerebral Bore wins the UK, Bangladesh, Mexico, and Indonesia outright. Fandom barely factored — fewer than 20 self-identified fans voted across all 17,277 ballots, this was a stranger's contest.
