Before Anna Joyce - Destino ever led, three other acts held the top spot. Halison Paixão opened in front, Bessa Teixeira flipped it by day 4, and Anna Joyce took over on day 6 — four different leaders inside the first week of a poll that eventually ran 41 days. That instability set the stage for an even bigger swing later.
Yannick AfroMan closed a lead built over 20+ days, taking the top spot on day 25 and stretching it to 41% by day 26. It didn't hold: Anna Joyce retook the lead on day 29, kept it for the final 13 days, and finished at 41.2% to 32.9% — her edge built in Angola, South Africa and Portugal against his pull in France, the UK and the US.
