In a Facebook poll of 6,748 respondents, 34.1% chose “Hurricane”. How we count
Clearfield jumped out front on day one, riding a 67% blowout over Bountiful and holding a steady lead through day 6. Hurricane trailed close behind the whole time, never falling further back than 32 points. Then, on day 7, the lead flipped for good — Hurricane pulled ahead and never let go, closing the gap over Spanish Fork and Mountain View along the way.
Hurricane finished with 2,303 votes (34.1%) to Clearfield's 1,970 (29.2%), a final margin built almost entirely in the last four days. Spanish Fork's late day-4 surge pushed it to third with 1,384 votes, while Bountiful never escaped last place. Nearly 5,700 of 6,748 votes came from the US, and Hurricane was the runaway pick among voters abroad too.
