Mail opened as the surprise frontrunner, up 50% on day one — but Ipin overtook him on day 2 and stayed on top for the next 358 days straight. Ipin's margin swelled past 55% by day 7 before settling into a long, gradual fade, closing at 40.2% to Upin's 28.7%.
The real split isn't gender, it's geography: Indonesia's 58 voters backed Ipin, while Malaysia's own 22 voters broke for Mail instead of the hometown favorite. Fan status barely mattered — this poll was decided almost entirely by non-fans, with just 4 fan votes cast across all ten characters.
