Among voters whose home country is known, South Korea sent the single largest bloc — and every one of them broke for Marina Anissina and Gwendal Piezerat. It didn't matter. The rest of the identified map, from the U.S. to the U.K., went the other way, and Mao Asada closed out the poll with 1,909 votes to 1,390.

The final tally wasn't close: Asada took 57.9% of all 3,299 votes cast over the week, a nearly 16-point, 519-vote edge that held even against the one bloc most invested in beating her. Both camps' identified voters skewed heavily female — this was a contest decided by geographic breadth, not by any single demographic tilt.

  • South Korea's Lean · Its entire identified bloc backed Anissina/Piezerat, the eventual runner-up
  • Final Margin · Asada won 1,909 to 1,390 — a 519-vote gap
  • U.S. & U.K. Split · Both broke for Asada, offsetting South Korea's lone dissent
