How do you respond to someone who stabs you in the back?

My sweet, honest and loyal girl learned a hard lesson. She's that unique kind of person you can tell a secret to who would never share it. She learned the hard way that most people will keep your secret just long enough to use it to against you. So my question is how do you respond?
