This wasn't close at any point. Sí opened at 91% support on day one and spent the next 420 days drifting in an eight-point band — dipping to 88%, climbing to 92%, but never once dropping toward a contest. It closed at 91.2% (2,965 votes) to No's 8.8% (286), a margin over 10-to-1.
The backing was broad, not lopsided by demographic. Sí's voters ran 70% male to 30% female — almost identical to No's 74/26 split — so this didn't hinge on a gender gap. It hinged on geography: every one of the top 10 countries, from Mexico's 275 votes down to the Dominican Republic's 11, leaned Sí. Nobody's home turf broke the other way.
- The floor · Sí support never dipped below 88% across 420 days
- The final gap · 91.2% to 8.8% — more than 10 votes to 1
- No regional holdout · All 10 top countries, Mexico to Dominican Republic, leaned Sí
