The role of the student in dialogic pedagogy is MAINLY to be:
1) A willing object of the teacher’s pedagogical actions. The teacher molds the student’s subjectivity by providing knowledge, scaffolding skills, imprinting dispositions, making the student internalize important social values, throwing into learning experiences, and cleaning from misconceptions. The student must cooperation in this process.
2) A hero of the teacher’s polyphonic novel-teaching. The must go through and reply to all provocations and learning experiences designed by the teacher.
3) An author of his or her own learning assisted by the teacher, when asked by the student.
