Many of us are active educators/teachers. When you are preparing for a dialogic lesson, what is involved in your preparation (please select out of the following choices)? I plan for (justify your planning in the comments):
1. … what should be in the students’ minds at the end of the lesson and what activities guidance I have to provide for that.
2. … learning space (i.e., possible important learning) that is necessary for my students, and learning activities that afford that learning space.
3. … important learning experiences to provide for my students.
4. … provocations to include that might surprise my students.
5. I refuse to plan because I want to ask my students what they want to learn, how and why.
6. I refuse to plan because I just want to make myself available to help my students if and whenever they ask me to help them.
