OK... I'd like some help with color opinions. Two to be exact. We're down to our final 3 weeks to finish our first flip house -- an 81 year old farm house remodel. I've included a Google maps street view of the house about the time we bought it last year. The color question is about the front deck. In the picture you can't see it very well but the ramp (scheduled to be replaced by new stairs) ends at the deck in front of the front door. We have a new deck being built onto the back right now. We were thinking we would power wash the front deck and either re-stain or repaint it with wood treatment. Today I had a couple people suggest to me that since the wood will never look like new (short of replacing it) that we should paint the decking the same color as the house (will be a darker gray than seen in the picture) and then use the trim color (white) for the uprights and railing. So, here's the question: Stain/treatment of OLD wood or paint to match house and trim colors. What
