Chile cast more votes than any other country in this poll — and Chile backed SI. But that was the exception, not the rule: outside Chile the field broke hard for NO, and by the close NO had the majority nationwide, 57.9% to 42.1%. The single biggest voting bloc lost the poll it dominated.

There was never a moment of doubt about which way the rest of the field was headed. NO opened at 60% on day one, settled to 55% by day four, and sat there for the next 58 days without interruption — a flat, unbroken line to the finish. No lead change, no late scare, just Chile's SI preference getting outvoted everywhere else.

  • Chile's lone stand · Chile, the top voting country, backed SI while NO won overall
  • 55% for 58 straight days · NO's margin barely moved after day four, all the way to day 62
  • Men leaned NO harder · NO voters were 73% male versus 65% male among SI
