Nearly half of respondents dye their gear to school colors outright — Yes took 45.9% and held that share within a point or two for all 414 days, never seriously threatened. But add the fence-sitters and the picture shifts: 77.5% of voters dye at least sometimes, versus just one in five flat refusals.
The men outnumber women roughly 2-to-1 across every option, but the shape of their answers barely differs — this is a poll where gender changes the volume, not the verdict. Only 2.1% claim ignorance of their own school colors, a small, steady group that never moved the standings.
- Steady leader · Yes led by 45-47% every single day of the poll's run
- Commitment gap · 77.5% dye at least sometimes; only 20.4% flatly refuse
