A free poster question rarely splits a crowd this decisively. Yes opened at 72% on day one, climbed to 80% by day six, and held above two-thirds for all 240 days. Its softest patch, a stretch in the middle of the run, only pulled it down to 68% before it rebuilt to a final 72.4% — 1,974 votes to 751.

The gap wasn't just size, it was who showed up. Only 18% of Yes voters were women against 11% of No voters, a real split inside an otherwise lopsided field. Barely anyone voting called themselves a magazine fan, just 7 people total, and the countries that turned out, from the US to the UK to Australia, leaned Yes almost everywhere.

  • Final margin · 1,974 Yes to 751 No — nearly a 3-to-1 split
  • Toughest stretch · Support dipped to just 68% around day 70, its low point
  • Women broke harder for Yes · 18% of Yes voters were women vs 11% of No voters
  • Non-fans decided it · Only 7 of 2,725 voters identified as magazine fans
