In a Facebook poll of 2,641 respondents, 34.8% chose “2.d "Svadba"”. How we count
2.d 'Svadba' edged 2.e 'Romska svadba' by just 29 votes — 34.8% to 33.7%, a 1.1-point gap out of 2,641 ballots. It's a fitting margin: both were wedding-themed costumes, and voters split almost evenly on which wedding won the day. Women broke for 'Svadba' (519 of 894 female votes among the two); men leaned 'Romska svadba' (456 of 831 male votes).
'Romska svadba' held the early advantage before 'Svadba' overtook it on the final day and made it stick. The flip also drew a map: Croatia, the US and Russia broke for 'Svadba', while Sweden, Germany, Bosnia and Norway swung the other way for 'Romska svadba'. Everywhere else, the '80s costume and the stadium-riot costume trailed well behind at 15% and 10%.
