Disrupts the season. We lost 6 players last year and nearly had to fold due to lack of numbers. Lost 2 minimum this year meaning we'll be playing the last 5 games with 12 players maximum. — 0% (0 votes)

Answer

It's more complex than three choices and is part of a much wider debate. It certainly seemed too long this summer because my lads team were not involved in any festivals etc. It seems to me that perhaps a 9s comp during the school hols for 12s to 16s might be a good idea but would probably not suiit primary teams unless teams with small squads. Some serious proposals from the league / rfl would be good for discussion by clubs. — 0% (0 votes)

Answer

The length of the break is reflective of the school break - it's difficult to field teams during the break for games and festivals given this — 0% (0 votes)

Answer

May be start 6 week earlier in the year and then when it comes to the 6 week hols the season finishes. Kids do lose interest and dont focus for those few games back as they have just gone back to school in a new class or new school. — 0% (0 votes)

It is long but too many players go in holiday. This year would not have been able to fulfill fixtures for this reason. If matches continued during the break you would have to consider if it is feasible to penalise teams who have no option but to PP. — 0% (0 votes)
