In a Facebook poll of 4,221 respondents, 46.7% chose “Nowa Prawica”. How we count
Nowa Prawica beat Ruch Palikota by seven votes out of 4,221 — 46.7% to 46.5%, a margin thinner than a single Warsaw apartment block's turnout. But the two camps didn't look alike: Nowa Prawica's support ran 86% male, while Ruch Palikota drew a far more mixed crowd, 70% male, 30% female — more than double the winner's female share.
Geography split the same way. Poland cast the single largest bloc of votes, 437, and leaned toward Ruch Palikota — the option that finished second nationally. Smaller expat pockets tilted the other way: the United States' 84 votes favored Nowa Prawica, and Germany's handful did too. The country that voted most also voted against the winner.
