Denmark's voters — the poll's largest identified geographic bloc — rallied around Enghavevej 9. So did the smaller pockets tagged from the US and from Ry itself. But the crown went elsewhere: Nyvej 6 finished with 809 votes (32.2%) to Enghavevej 9's 642 (25.5%), a 167-vote gap the hometown favorite never closed.

The dissent wasn't a late fluke. Enghavevej 9 held the daily lead from day 5 clear through day 17 — essentially the entire back half of the run — before the final count swung to Nyvej 6, leaving Denmark's own pick one step off the top of the podium.
