The spread was set almost instantly: لا held 60% on day one and finished at 60.5% (1,521 votes) after 16 days, never drifting more than a single point along the way. نعم settled at 32.1% (807), with just 6.9% undecided and a mere 0.6% saying they didn't care — a field that made up its mind before most polls even get going.

The geography splits the story further: Egypt itself — the country the amendments target — rejected them by the same lopsided margin (185 votes leaning لا), joined by the US, UK and UAE. But smaller Gulf states broke the other way: Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar all leaned نعم, turning this into rejection at home versus support abroad.

  • Locked in from day one · لا led 60% on day 1 and closed at 60.5% — barely moved in 16 days.
  • Egypt vs. the Gulf · Egypt, the US and UAE leaned لا; Saudi, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar leaned نعم.
  • Women skew toward doubt · Women were 27% of نعم voters but 39% of the still-undecided.
