This poll never had a plot twist — that's the story. ".Neither" opened with an 88% wall on day one, and even as Salman Khan's fans found the poll and climbed to a real second place, they never got closer than a few points on the board. By the final tally it was 52.5% to 32.4%, a 20-point gap that held for the last 50 days without moving more than a point or two either direction.
The steadiness came from India itself splitting against Salman Khan: with 47 votes it was the poll's biggest country and it leaned ".Neither", while Pakistan's 27 votes were the only real pocket of Salman Khan support. Rahul Bhatt, the nominal third option, never cracked 16% and pulled the smallest, most male-skewed crowd of the three.
