Which of the Quad Cities should Portillo's build a location?

Moline took 46% of 4,250 votes to Davenport's 32.5%, with Bettendorf and Rock Island splitting the remainder at 13.2% and 8.3%. The order never moved — Moline held the same roughly 46-to-32 gap over Davenport from day one through day 57.

This wasn't a nailbiter decided late; it was a preference stated early and repeated for nearly two months straight. Almost every vote came from the US, and women out-voted men in every city on the ballot, Moline included.

• The gap · Moline beat Davenport by roughly 14 points, wire to wire
• Steady margin · Moline's lead held at 46% for 57 straight days
• Gender lean · Women outnumbered men roughly 2-to-1 in every city's votes
