Who's your favorite Doctor Who?

David Tennant hit 55% on day one and only tightened his grip from there, climbing to 59% by the finish while every other Doctor fought over table scraps. Matt Smith settled for a distant 17.3%, and the remaining nine incarnations — nearly seventy years of the show combined — mustered just 24% between them.

This wasn't a coin flip that broke one way. Tennant carried the United States, the United Kingdom, and every other top country in the sample, drawing over 1,600 more votes than the next ten Doctors put together. William Hartnell, the original Doctor, closed with 35 votes to Tennant's 2,575.

• Day-one margin · Tennant opened at 55% and only grew from there
