MAIONESE Q.I. - QUEM VOCÊ QUER VER TOCANDO NO FESTIVAL MAIONESE 2012?
Music chart by Festival Maionese
In a Facebook poll of 2,672 respondents, 22% chose “Dr. Lhama”. How we count
Thirty-seven bands split this vote so thin that Dr. Lhama won with barely one in five ballots — 22%, never above 26% at any point across 19 days. That's not a mandate, it's a plurality squeezing past 36 rivals fighting for scraps: Bonança at 17.9%, Autopse at 15.3%, and thirty-four more acts dividing the remaining 45%.
The stranger twist: Brazil cast 1,646 of the 2,672 votes — well over half the poll — and its own bloc actually favored Bonança, not the eventual winner. Dr. Lhama's title came together from smaller pockets everywhere else, including a lopsided U.S. contingent of 98 voters. The biggest room in the building backed someone who didn't take the crown.
- Plurality, not majority · Winner Dr. Lhama took just 22% against 36 other acts
- Brazil vs. the winner · 1,646 Brazilian votes leaned Bonança, not the champion
- Steady from day one · Dr. Lhama held the lead all 19 days, margin barely moved
