In a Facebook poll of 5,257 respondents, 29.1% chose “Tropa de Elite 2 bate recorde histórico do Brasil em bilheteria”. How we count
From day one, Tropa de Elite 2's box-office record grabbed the top spot and never let go, closing at 29.1% (1,531 votes). "Não teve filme da Xuxa" trailed the entire 18 days, close but never closer than a few points — final tally 25.6% (1,347), a runner-up story with zero drama at the top.
The real split isn't in the standings — it's who showed up. Scarlett Johansson's single-status option pulled a startling 56 male voters to just 3 female, while Kathryn Bigelow's historic Oscar win drew a comparatively balanced 11 men to 8 women, the tightest gender gap on the board. Brazil and the U.S. anchored the vote, both leaning hard toward Tropa de Elite 2.
