Enrique Alfaro Ramírez opened at 86% on day one and closed at 86.8% ten days later — a margin so steady it barely moved a full point across 3,803 votes. Ricardo Villanueva Lomelí, his closest rival, never cracked 8%. Four other names split the remaining scraps, with three of them stuck at 1% or less.
The real story is the field's failure to dent him, not a comeback that never came. Every other candidate combined pulled fewer votes than Alfaro's margin over second place alone. Men outvoted women roughly 2-to-1 for him, matching the poll's overall lean, and Mexico anchored the count with 1,890 votes — all of it breaking his way from the very first day.
- Runaway share · 86.8% for one name across all 3,803 votes
- Second place stalled · Villanueva never topped 8% at any point
- Rest of field · Four other candidates combined for under 6%
- Zero movement · Lead held at 86-87% every single day
