Charlie Cookson Foundation closed with 913 votes (31.7%) to Community Corner's 765 (26.6%) — a gap that opened early and simply never moved. Day 1 had it at 31%, it drifted to 34% by day 5, settled at 32% and sat there for the rest of the 44-day run. Cancer Connections took a clear third with 423 votes, then the field drops hard: Kayaks (230), Young Carers (158) and Jarrow Relay (152) round out the mid-pack, with four causes finishing under 100 votes.

This was a women-driven vote from top to bottom: Cancer Connections pulled 368 women to just 50 men, Community Corner ran 653-to-107, and even the winner leaned roughly 6-to-1 female. Fans of the pages barely registered — a handful of votes out of 2,876 — so the outcome reflects general supporters, not a fanbase. The UK supplied 2,330 of the votes, with Charlie Cookson Foundation the clear favorite there and in the US.
