Which is your favorite book by John Grisham?

Twenty-three Grisham novels went on the ballot, and after 4,798 votes across 143 days, A Time To Kill topped the field with just 14.6% — 702 votes. The Associate trailed at 8.6%, The Firm at 7.4%, and the field kept fracturing from there: seventeen of the twenty-three titles finished under 5%, all the way down to Bleachers' 1.2% at the bottom.

The two closest competitors also drew opposite crowds. A Time To Kill's identified voters ran 81% female — just 14 of 72 were men — while The Associate split dead even, 5 men and 5 women. And almost nobody voting called themselves a fan of the author: one voter, out of hundreds who shared gender data, checked that box.
