The opening days were chaos: Vilniaus universitetas led day one, Vytauto Didžiojo (VDU) grabbed it day two, VU snatched it back day three, VDU again day four — then Mykolo Romerio (MRU) stormed in on day five and held the top spot for three straight weeks, untouched through day 21.
VGTU finally broke through on day 22, lost the lead back to MRU twice more by day 24, then seized it for good on day 26 — and cruised, unchallenged, for 61 straight days to the finish. Final tally: VGTU 1,738 votes (31.6%) edges MRU's 1,566 (28.5%), a 172-vote margin forged in one turning-point week.
