Which episode from the first season of The Walking Dead was your favorite?

This one was never in doubt. Across 564 days and 4,218 votes, the pilot episode held first place every day it was tallied — no lead change, no late surge, just a steady climb from 34% to a final 31.8%, nearly double the share of Wildfire in last place.

Guts and TS-19 spent the back half of the poll trading second place, but neither closed the gap on the leader. Days Gone Bye's edge shrank slightly over time — from 34% down to 32% — but it never dipped low enough to put the outcome in question.

• No lead change · One option led on all 564 days tracked, zero flips.
• Runaway margin · Days Gone Bye's 1,341 votes nearly double runner-up Guts.
• Argentina bucks the trend · Only Argentina among top countries favored Vatos over the pilot.
