Diego Vázquez Melo topped out at 27.7% — a band he held from day one (28-33%) straight through to day 13 — while Julio Ríos and El Colorado de Omar trailed at 17.7% and 15%. No single rival ever closed enough ground to threaten a runoff scenario.

The gap tells you why: Vázquez Melo's coalition was the only one built evenly across genders, 49% male to 51% female, while his closest challengers split hard along gender lines. Julio Ríos pulled 62% male support and Gustavo Antonini 68% male, while Sergio Puglia and Víctor Hugo Paternostro leaned 57% female. A broad base beat a polarized one.
