What is your favorite marine mammal?

Sea Otter opened with roughly a third of the vote and simply held that ground for all 109 days, closing at 39.3% against Manatee's 27.4%. No lead change, no late scare — the margin only widened as votes piled up, growing from a 35-point cushion early on to 43 points by the finish.

Nearly 3,800 people weighed in, and the field never really tightened into a contest. Manatee stayed a clear second, Other pulled a steady 22.8%, and Harp Sea brought up the rear at 10.5% — a decisive, uncontested favorite rather than a nail-biter.

• Consistent lead · Sea Otter led from day 1 to day 109 without interruption
