Wer war Spieler der Hinrunde?
Professional sports team by FC Schalke 04
In a Facebook poll of 6,006 respondents, 49.6% chose “Manuel Neuer”. How we count
From the opening day, Manuel Neuer never trailed. He opened with 54% to Jefferson Farfan's early second-place bid, then Raúl steadily overtook Farfan by day 22 and held that runner-up spot the rest of the way. Neuer cruised to a final 49.6% over 40 days and 6,006 votes — a blowout with zero lead changes.
The real split isn't who won, it's where the votes came from. Germany alone cast 215 top-country votes, breaking hard for Neuer, while men outvoted women roughly 6-to-1 across nearly every candidate — Neuer pulled 1,606 male votes to just 253 female. Practically nobody voting was a declared fan of any candidate: only 9 of 6,006 votes came from self-identified fans.
- Day 1 Domination · Neuer led 54% from the very first day and never let go
- Day 22 Shakeup · Raúl overtakes Farfan for second and holds it to the end
- Gender Gap · Men outvoted women about 6-to-1 on nearly every option
- Non-Fan Vote · Just 9 of 6,006 votes came from self-declared fans
