In a Facebook poll of 4,256 respondents, 37.8% chose “Babylone”. How we count
Freeklane opened with a near-landslide, up 48 points on day one, and kept a comfortable double-digit cushion through day four. Babylone never panicked and never closed the gap by much — until day five, when the whole race inverted: Babylone surged to a 38-point lead of its own and held it to the finish, closing at 37.8% to Freeklane's 33.1%.
The swing wasn't subtle — Freeklane's day-four margin and Babylone's day-five margin are mirror images, suggesting a late wave of Babylone voters arrived all at once. Algeria, the poll's overwhelming source of votes, leaned Babylone, while smaller pockets in Canada, the US and the UK stayed loyal to Freeklane to the end.
- One-day flip · Freeklane's 35-point lead on day 4 became Babylone's 38-point lead on day 5.
- Algeria decided it · 2,718 of 4,256 votes came from Algeria, leaning Babylone.
- Gender split · Babylone skewed female (955 vs 649); Tarba3t skewed heavily male (461 vs 240).
