In a Facebook poll of 3,899 respondents, 13.1% chose “THE IDYLL'S END”. How we count
Nearly 3,900 votes scattered across 65 bands, and the winner needed only a sliver of them. THE IDYLL'S END took the crown with 512 votes — 13.1% — while SMASHED HEAD (483) and FALL APART (439) sat just behind. The top three are separated by 73 votes total, roughly 1.8 points: this was a plurality, not a mandate.
The scoreboard wasn't calm getting there. The lead flipped three times — a one-vote fluke, then a genuine swap — before locking in on day 8. And the top two split cleanly by gender: SMASHED HEAD's backers ran 56% female, THE IDYLL'S END's ran 55% male, two different crowds pushing from opposite sides.
- 13% mandate · The winner claimed just 512 of 3,899 total votes.
- Three-way logjam · Top three finishers separated by only 73 votes combined.
- Gender-coded rivalry · SMASHED HEAD skewed 56% female, THE IDYLL'S END 55% male.
- False start · TWELVE2GO 'led' day one on a single vote, then vanished.
