In a Facebook poll of 48,411 respondents, 22.3% chose “SCAPIGLIATI”. How we count
The race flipped twice before it ever settled. Disco Zodiac opened with a 25% lead on day 1, only for Maria Faiola to grab the top spot on day 2. By day 3, Scapigliati seized control outright, up 14%, and kept stretching that margin — 18% on day 5, 22% by the finish, closing at 22.3% (10,817 votes) over I Dei Dell'Olimpo's 18.1%.
The early front-runners cratered: Disco Zodiac finished with just 41 votes, Maria Faiola settled for 2.3%. Meanwhile Italy's biggest national bloc — 278 voters — actually leaned toward Mai Col Germani, not the eventual winner, a local favorite that never cracked the top three overall despite pulling a strong 9.9% finish.
