Sahila bent Lachheb opened with a stunning 78% lead over Hanan El Khedar on day one, and Algeria's fans powered that early wave — the gap held near 72-73% for over two weeks straight. Then it started bleeding, slipping to 60%, then 49%, then into the 40s, as El Khedar's support kept chipping away almost daily.

By day 28 the race flipped for the first time, snapped back to Sahila on day 29, then flipped for good on day 34 when El Khedar took the lead and never let go through the remaining 80 days. She closed at 44.2% to 43.8% — a photo finish after a comeback that erased a 78-point head start. Heidi Moussa trailed the whole way at 12%, but dominated in Egypt.
